Makkah: The Saudi Red Crescent Authority in Makkah recorded 111,671 volunteer hours during the third quarter of 2025, across 1,216 volunteer opportunities.
According to Saudi Press Agency, these opportunities included providing emergency medical services to visitors, pilgrims, and worshippers in the courtyards of the Grand Mosque. Volunteers also supported national events, international observances, humanitarian initiatives, and sports and marine activities.
The latest statistics revealed that 19,078 individuals participated in the volunteer initiatives, with 9,232 males and 9,846 females. The volunteers represented a broad spectrum of medical professionals, including consultants, general practitioners, and emergency medicine specialists.
