Saudi Press: Saudi Women’s Participation in Labor Market up to 32%

Riyadh-- Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of issues at local, regional and international arenas.

Al-Yaum newspaper reported in its editorial that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia continuously works on enabling the male and female youths to engage effectively in labor market.

The creating job opportunities in the labor market, along with the qualifying the young people and enabling them to enter the market are among the most important goals of Saudi Arabia's vision 2030, the paper said.

In this regard, the Minister of Human Resources and Social Development confirmed that the number of Saudis of males and females engaging in the labor market has reached more than one million and nine hundred thousand, the paper added .

Since launch of Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030, the rate of Saudi women's participation in the labor market was 21%, and today it has added up to 32%, the paper further added .

These above-mentioned details confirm that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's vision 2030 upgrades the performance of the Saudi labor market and provide job opportunities for all Saudis males and females to contribute to promoting the development process, the paper concluded.
