Riyadh: The Board of Directors of the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) held its first meeting of 2025 on Sunday evening, chaired by the Vice Chairman of the Board Dr. Abdullatif bin Mohammed Alabdullatif, with the attendance of board members. During the meeting, the board approved SPA’s final accounts for 2024, as well as the agency’s annual report for the same year.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the board members reviewed a proposal for an international conference to be hosted by SPA. They also examined projects related to updating regulations and legislation, the digital archive platform of Umm Al-Qura newspaper, and the Creative Commons platform. The board discussed several agenda items and issued the necessary decisions regarding them.
