Riyadh: The Saudi Press Agency (SPA) has entered into a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the National Information Agency of Tajikistan (Khovar) to enhance cooperation and news exchange between the two agencies. This agreement marks a significant step towards strengthening media cooperation and sharing technical information related to each agency’s news services.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the memorandum was signed by SPA Acting President Hassan bin Mohammed Al-Asmari and Khovar Director General Subhiddin Shamsiddinzoda. The signing ceremony highlighted the mutual interests of both countries in advancing their media collaboration.

During the event, representatives from SPA and Khovar discussed ways to further develop their cooperation to serve the interests of Saudi Arabia and Tajikistan. The Tajik delegation also had the opportunity to tour the SPA headquarters, where they were introduced to the agency’s various news operations, including bulletins in multiple languages and its social media activities.

The ceremony was attended by the Ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan to the Kingdom, Akram Karimi, further underscoring the importance of this bilateral media partnership.
