Riyadh: The Saudi Press Agency (SPA) has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA) to facilitate cooperation in news exchange and technical collaboration. This agreement aims to strengthen and develop media cooperation between the two agencies.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the MoU was signed during a visit by a delegation from SANA to SPA’s headquarters in Riyadh. The signing ceremony was attended by SPA Acting President Hassan Al-Asmari and SANA Director General Ziad al-Mahamid. The meeting included discussions on media-related topics of mutual interest and explored ways to enhance cooperation between the two agencies.
The Syrian delegation also toured the news sector and its affiliated departments at SPA. They visited the SPA Academy for News Training, where they learned about the latest technologies used in news production, reporting, and media content.
