Islamabad: The Saudi-Pakistan Joint Business Council convened Wednesday in Islamabad, chaired by Prince Mansour bin Mohammed and Pakistani Minister for Commerce Jam Kamal Khan. The meeting saw the participation of a delegation from the Federation of Saudi Chambers and its Pakistani counterparts, in the presence of Saudi Ambassador to Pakistan Nawaf Al-Malki.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the meeting focused on exploring ways to strengthen economic relations, develop strategies with foreign companies, attract high-quality investments, and enhance Saudi exports to the Pakistani market. In remarks to the Saudi Press Agency, Prince Mansour mentioned that in line with the directives of the Kingdom’s leadership and with the support of the Ministry of Commerce and the Ministry of Investment, the Saudi-Pakistan Joint Business Council aims to acquaint the private sector in Pakistan with opportunities through which Saudi businessmen can engage in the Pakistani economy.
The Saudi delegation’s visit aims to learn about the Pakistani market, explore trade and investment opportunities, and open new channels of cooperation between the business sectors of both countries in support of the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.
