Saudi Logistics Academy Signs Strategic Agreements at Global Labor Market Conference

Riyadh: The Saudi Logistics Academy signed four strategic agreements aimed at solidifying the Kingdom’s standing as a global logistics hub during the second annual Global Labor Market Conference.

According to Saudi Press Agency, one of the memoranda of understanding (MoUs) was with the International Federation of Freight Forwarders Associations (FIATA), which aims to enhance cooperation in developing skills and vocational training in the field of freight and logistics services. Both parties committed to exchanging information and expertise to support the Kingdom’s logistics transformation.

The academy signed an MoU with the Spanish ACEX Association, which aims to build a joint framework for developing human resources in road maintenance and operation. The agreement focuses on offering specialized training courses and strengthening the exchange of best practices and knowledge between the two parties to achieve their shared goals.

The academy signed an agreement with Saudi MEDLOG Limited, which involves training and qualifying 18 candidates for employment within the company as part of the entry-level diploma program, contributing to the development of national workforce skills in line with labor market requirements.

The academy and Mediterranean Shipping Company (MSC) also signed an agreement, which aims to train and qualify six candidates for employment within the company as part of the entry-level diploma program.
