Saudi Leadership Showcased at ‘Black Hat MENA,’ Cybersecurity Federation Says.

Riyadh: For the fourth consecutive year, the Saudi Federation for Cybersecurity, Programming, and Drones reaffirmed its leadership in promoting the Kingdom’s position in technology and cybersecurity achieved through its organization of the current edition of the Black Hat Middle East and Africa (MENA) conference and exhibition, which launched Tuesday at the Riyadh Exhibition and Convention Center in Mulham.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the event is organized by the federation, “Tahaluf”-one of its subsidiaries-in partnership with Informa Global and the Events Investment Fund (EIF).

The federation’s participation in organizing the event aims to highlight the Kingdom’s capabilities in cybersecurity and programming and showcase the latest developments in drone technologies.

These areas are key pillars of Saudi Vision 2030, which seeks to build an innovative and secure digital future. Through its various platforms at the exhibition, the federation also offers hands-on experiences and training workshops to
demonstrate the Kingdom’s progress in these fields.

The drone challenge zone is one of the main events overseen by the federation that aims to foster a culture of innovation among Saudi youth and enhance their skills in controlling unmanned aerial vehicles, with a focus on securing these technologies against potential cybersecurity risks.

The workshops and technical sessions organized by the federation highlight the importance of cybersecurity to protect digital infrastructure, showcasing key initiatives and efforts led by the Kingdom to enhance its cybersecurity. Such efforts range from developing specialized national talent to implementing international standards in the vital field.

The federation contributed to solidifying the Kingdom’s position as a leading hub for technology and cybersecurity through international initiatives and programs aimed at empowering youth and building national capabilities.
