Saudi, Kuwaiti Interior Ministers Discuss Security Cooperation

Kuwait city: Minister of Interior Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz held an official session of talks with First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior of the State of Kuwait Sheikh Fahad Yousef Saud Al-Sabah.

According to Saudi Press Agency, Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud stated that the meeting was in line with the directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to strengthen security cooperation, reflecting the strong relations between the two countries.

During the talks, the ministers discussed the historic bilateral relations and the ongoing development in various sectors, focusing on the security cooperation between their respective ministries. They addressed topics such as information and expertise exchange, combatting organized crime, enhancing the security training system, developing human resources, and utilizing the latest security techn
ologies and systems. The discussion also covered border security coordination to ensure safety and improve joint monitoring, contributing to the security and stability of both nations.

Both ministers praised the efforts of the Military and Security Coordination Committee, part of the Saudi-Kuwaiti Coordination Council, and emphasized their commitment to advancing joint security cooperation to meet the expectations of both countries’ leaderships.

Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud also reviewed a presentation on the Kuwaiti Ministry of Interior’s initiatives to improve security, fight crime, and implement modern technological systems within its security departments. The meeting was attended by several senior officials from both sides.
