Saudi, Iraqi Justice Ministers Strengthen Judicial Ties in Riyadh

Riyadh: Minister of Justice Walid Al-Samaani met today in Riyadh with Iraq’s Minister of Justice Khaled Shawani to strengthen judicial and legal relations between the two nations, signing an executive program to foster collaboration across several areas.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the ministers discussed enhancing cooperation, sharing expertise, and advancing judicial systems. Al-Samaani highlighted key developments in Saudi Arabia’s justice sector, supported by Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and overseen by His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister. He emphasized specialized legislation aimed at improving judicial efficiency and delivering swift justice.

Both sides stressed the importance of ongoing collaboration in legislation and alternative dispute resolution to support judicial progress. They signed an executive program to foster cooperation in legislation, notarization expertise, alternative dispute resolution, and joint events such as conferences, seminars, and training courses.
