Abu Dhabi:Deputy Minister of Finance for International Relations, Khalid Bawazier, led Saudi Arabia's delegation at the 17th Council of Arab Ministers of Finance meeting and attended the Arab Monetary Fund's Golden Jubilee Celebration.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the meeting included discussions on various experiences from Arab countries and featured presentations from international institutions such as the World Bank and the OECD, focusing on key economic developments in the region.
During the event, Bawazier emphasized Saudi Arabia's achievements in development areas that have bolstered economic growth. He highlighted the importance of starting successful sustainable infrastructure projects with comprehensive feasibility studies, clear contractual frameworks, and effective governance. Bawazier also underscored the World Bank's role as a "knowledge bank" in enhancing capacity, developing infrastructure projects, and facilitating the exchange of experiences among countries with similar challenges.
