Saudi Date Exports to China Record 39% Growth in 2025

Riyadh: The National Center for Palms and Dates (NCPD) announced that the Kingdom's date exports recorded notable growth in 2025, reaching SAR1.938 billion, alongside a rise in date production exceeding 1.9 million tons during the same year, reflecting the strength and high productive efficiency of the date palm and dates sector.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the NCPD indicated that Saudi dates have expanded their presence in global markets, with exports reaching more than 125 countries, recording a 14.3% increase compared to 2024, affirming the significant development the sector is witnessing and its growing contribution to supporting the national economy in line with Saudi Vision 2030 targets.

The NCPD noted that Saudi date exports to the People's Republic of China rose by 39% during the same period compared to 2024, affirming their expansion in one of the largest Asian markets and contributing to opening wide investment opportunities for investors and Saudi date companies.
