Makkah: Makkah Health Cluster's hospitals in the holy sites have obtained institutional accreditation from the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties as seasonal training centers during the Hajj season, marking a first-of-its-kind achievement among seasonal training centers.
According to Saudi Press Agency, this accreditation underscores Makkah Health Cluster's leadership in advancing the health education and training system. It aims to enhance the quality of clinical training and improve the proficiency of health practitioners in line with the highest approved institutional standards. The institutional accreditation encompasses several hospitals, including East Arafat Hospital, Namira Hospital, Jabal Al-Rahmah Hospital, Mina Emergency Hospital, Mina Al-Wadi Hospital, Mina Al-Jisr Hospital, and Mina New Street Hospital.
The accreditation aligns with the cluster's ongoing efforts to adopt exemplary educational and training practices, thereby elevating the preparedness of health facilities in the holy sites. This initiative is in accordance with the objectives of the Health Sector Transformation Program and Saudi Vision 2030, reflecting a commitment to developing a robust health sector in the region.
