Riyadh: The Asian Chess Federation has appointed Saudi Chess Federation President Mohammed Al-Masoudi to its Executive Board and named him chairman of the federation's E-Chess Committee. According to Saudi Press Agency, the appointment reflects the confidence Al-Masoudi enjoys at the Asian level in recognition of his efforts to support and develop the sport of chess, strengthen institutional work, and advance the e-chess ecosystem across the continent. Al-Masoudi's appointment to the Executive Board further strengthens the presence of Saudi professionals in leadership positions within continental and international sports federations. It also reflects the growing standing of the Saudi Chess Federation at both the Asian and international levels.
