Saudi Business Center to Participate in Zakat, Tax, Customs Conference.

Riyadh: The Saudi Business Center (SBC) is set to participate in the Zakat, Tax, and Customs Conference themed “Shaping Tomorrow for a Sustainable Economy and Enhanced Security,” which is scheduled to take place in Riyadh on December 4-5. The event is being held under the patronage of Mohammed bin Abdullah Al-Jadaan, Minister of Finance and Chairman of the Board of the Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority (ZATCA).

According to Saudi Press Agency, the conference will emphasize the integration of modern technologies to enhance efficiency in zakat, tax, and customs operations, focusing on promoting transparency and ensuring regulatory compliance. The SBC’s involvement aims to highlight its contribution to facilitating business startups and operations, as well as its efforts to improve the overall business environment. This involves proposing policy improvements and working closely with government partners to review, streamline, and make processes more cost-effective, aligning them with global best practices to fost
er an attractive business landscape that bolsters the national economy’s growth.

SBC representatives plan to present the center’s collaborative work model, which involves partnerships with 74 government entities within the business sector. This collaboration enables the SBC to offer a wide range of services through its branches and online platform, including its 19 physical branches located across 15 cities in Saudi Arabia.

Since its inception in 2019, the SBC has delivered approximately 6.4 million services to the business sector via its platform, in collaboration with relevant government entities. This initiative significantly contributes to the Kingdom’s goal of being ranked among the world’s leading nations in terms of the quality and accessibility of government business services.
