Geneva: The Kingdom’s Permanent Mission participated in the Universal Periodic Review (UPR) of Egypt at the United Nations in Geneva. The Kingdom’s permanent representative to the United Nations in Geneva, Ambassador Abdulmohsen bin Khothaila, delivered a statement welcoming the Egyptian delegation, led by the minister of foreign affairs, and commending the comprehensive report presented.

According to Saudi Press Agency, Ambassador bin Khothaila praised Egypt’s notable efforts in advancing human rights, particularly in improving education quality, empowering women, protecting children’s rights, and supporting persons with disabilities. He acknowledged the impact of Egypt’s national initiatives and programs in enhancing the quality of life for all segments of society.
