Valley of natron: The Saudi Arabian Scouts Association concluded its participation yesterday in the International Leadership Training (ILT) program, held in Egypt and hosted by the Egyptian Federation for Scouts and Girl Guides in the Valley of Natron. The program ran from December 9 to 14, 2025, and brought together scout leaders from several countries.

According to Saudi Press Agency, at the conclusion of the program, association representatives were granted official accreditation in the ‘world ambassadors’ program for international leadership training. This accreditation enables the association to certify its leaders as international trainers in regional and global programs of the World Organization of the Scout Movement, reflecting the high level of competence and preparedness achieved by Saudi scout leaders.

The ILT program covered a wide range of themes, including an introduction to the ILT methodology, the development of local and global leadership skills, cultural exchange, and the implementation of applied community projects. It also included cultural visits that strengthened mutual understanding among participants from various Arab countries and reinforced the values of belonging, dialogue, and diversity.

The association affirmed that this participation represents a qualitative addition to its development journey, enhancing its international presence and strengthening the efficiency of its leadership cadres, in line with the objectives of the global scouting movement and in support of Saudi youth making a positive impact at the local and global levels.
