Saudi Arabia Wins Three Medals at Mendeleev Chemistry Olympiad 2026 in Russia

Moscow: The Saudi chemistry team secured three bronze medals at the International Mendeleev Chemistry Olympiad (IMChO) 2026, held in Moscow from April 15 to 23, with the participation of 161 students representing 40 countries.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the bronze medals were awarded to Ali Bawazir from the General Administration of Education in Riyadh Region, Mujtaba Al-Tarouti from the General Administration of Education in Eastern Region, and Abdulaziz Badr Al-Juaid from the General Administration of Education in Madinah Region.

The achievement brings Saudi Arabia's total record at IMChO to 29 international awards, earned through participation under the King Abdulaziz and His Companions Foundation for Giftedness and Creativity 'Mawhiba.' The Kingdom's achievements include three silver and 26 bronze medals across 14 participations since 2013.
