Doha: The match between the Saudi national team and its United Arab Emirates (UAE) counterpart to determine third place in the 2025 Arab Cup was cancelled after it could not be completed due to adverse weather conditions.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the decision to cancel the match, taken at the start of the second half, was to ensure the safety of players, technical staff, and attending spectators.

The match was held at Khalifa International Stadium in the Qatari capital, Doha, before the referee decided to suspend the game and subsequently cancel it officially.

The first half of the match ended in a goalless draw between the two teams.
