Riyadh: The Asia Pacific Lacrosse Union (APLU) has announced that Saudi Arabia will host the second Asian Lacrosse Games, scheduled to take place from September 29 to October 6, 2025. This marks a significant milestone for the Kingdom as it continues to invest in the growth of lacrosse and other sports as part of its Vision 2030 initiative.
According to Saudi Press Agency, since its establishment in 2019, the Saudi Lacrosse Federation has been actively working to promote the sport through various initiatives, including workshops, club development, and participation in international competitions. The decision to host the Asian Lacrosse Games highlights the progress Saudi Arabia has made in nurturing a lacrosse culture within the country and demonstrates the APLU’s confidence in its ability to successfully organize the event.
