Riyadh: In response to the request of President of the Yemeni Presidential Leadership Council Dr. Rashad Al-Alimi, Saudi Arabia has agreed to host a comprehensive conference in Riyadh aimed at bringing together all southern factions to address the southern cause. According to Saudi Press Agency, this initiative is based on the Ministry of Foreign Affairs' statement dated December 30, 2025, which recognized the southern cause as one with historical and social dimensions, emphasizing dialogue within a comprehensive political solution for Yemen as the sole resolution path. Saudi Arabia's decision to host the conference underlines the strong relationship between the two nations and aims to support and reinforce the security and stability of Yemen. The Kingdom calls upon all southern factions to participate actively in the conference, aiming to develop a comprehensive vision for just solutions that meet the legitimate aspirations of the southern people.
