Riyadh: Saudi Arabia suffered a 4-0 defeat to Spain national football team on Sunday in their Group H second-round match at Atlanta Stadium in the FIFA World Cup 2026.

According to Saudi Press Agency, Spain took the lead in the 10th minute through Lamine Yamal before Mikel Oyarzabal struck twice in quick succession in the 21st and 24th minutes. The fourth goal came four minutes into the second half when the ball was turned into Saudi Arabia's net by defender Hassan Al Tambakti.
