Saudi Arabia Strongly Condemns Israel Closure Orders Against 6 UNRWA Schools in Jerusalem

Riyadh: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs voiced the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s strongest condemnation of the closure orders issued by Israel against six schools operated by the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) in east Jerusalem. The Kingdom reaffirmed its absolute rejection of the Israeli occupation authorities’ stubbornness and systematic targeting of UNRWA and humanitarian and relief efforts amid the silence of the international community.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the ministry called on the international community to shoulder its responsibilities regarding the continuous Israeli violations against the brotherly Palestinian people, emphasizing that remaining silent in the face of such violations only worsens the crisis and undermines prospects for achieving peace in the region.
