Istanbul: More than 10 national entities will represent the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia at IDEF 2025 in the Republic of Türkiye. The Saudi pavilion, organized by the General Authority for Military Industries (GAMI) at the International Defense Industries Exhibition IDEF 2025, was launched today in the Turkish city of Istanbul. More than 10 entities from the public and private sectors are participating in the exhibition, which will be held from July 22 to 27. The exhibition is considered one of the most important and prominent exhibitions specialized in the field of military industries worldwide, and showcases many national industrial products and capabilities.
According to Union of OIC News Agencies, His Excellency the Governor of the General Authority for Military Industries, Eng. Ahmed bin Abdulaziz Al-Ohali, inaugurated the Saudi pavilion, in the presence of His Excellency the Assistant Minister of Defense for Executive Affairs, Dr. Khaled bin Hussein Al-Bayari, the CEOs of the Saudi companies participating in the pavilion, and senior military officials, experts and specialists from various countries around the world. His Excellency, Their Excellencies and the attendees were briefed during their tour of the Saudi pavilion on the latest products, military industrial capabilities and advanced technologies in various fields of military industries.
The Saudi pavilion seeks to highlight the qualitative development witnessed by the military industries in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and showcases the latest advanced defense systems and technologies, to explore prospects for cooperation with major international companies. The participation includes more than 10 national entities from the public and private sectors, in addition to the General Authority for Military Industries (GAMI), represented by the General Authority for Defense Development (GADD), the Saudi Arabian Military Industries Company (SAMI), the National Company for Mechanical Systems (NCMS), Al-Esnad Industrial Company (AL-Esnad), the Saudi Chemical Company Limited (SCCL), Ray Manufacturing Service Company (RMC), Intra Defense Technologies Company (INTRA), the Saudi Aircraft Maintenance and Engineering Company (GDC Middle East), Qudra Industrial Company, Pioneers Systems Company, in addition to the World Defense Show (WDS).
