Saudi Arabia Sends 40 Students to Compete at Regeneron ISEF 2026 in Phoenix

Phoenix: The Regeneron International Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF 2026) officially commenced in Phoenix, Arizona, with Saudi Arabia marking its presence through a delegation of 40 male and female students. These students are representing the Kingdom in the 76th edition of the fair across various scientific disciplines.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the event, which runs from May 9 to 15, hosts over 1,700 students from approximately 70 countries. They are competing in 22 scientific categories, and their projects will be assessed by around 1,200 judges. The judging day is set for tomorrow, Wednesday.

Today, the Saudi participants are expected to showcase their projects to the media, gearing up for the competition at the largest global forum dedicated to pre-university research and innovation. Saudi Arabia has been a regular participant in ISEF since 2007, securing a total of 185 awards, which include 124 grand awards and 61 special awards. In the previous edition, Saudi Arabia achieved a notable second place globally, following the United States.
