Riyadh: The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, represented by Dr. Hussam Alangari, President of the General Court of Audit (GCA), hosted the 68th meeting of the Governing Board of the Arab Organization for Supreme Audit Institutions (ARABOSAI) at the GCA headquarters in Riyadh. The event saw the participation of heads of Supreme Audit Institutions (SAIs) from Qatar, UAE, Algeria, Morocco, Iraq, Oman, Mauritania, Libya, Kuwait, and Lebanon.

According to Saudi Press Agency, Dr. Alangari emphasized the meeting’s role in enhancing cooperation, joint initiatives, and coordination among Arab SAIs. He stressed the necessity of sharing information and professional experiences to further the organization’s mission.

GCA currently presides over ARABOSAI for the 2023-2025 term. The organization is dedicated to facilitating and reinforcing collaboration among its member entities, INTOSAI, and other regional financial oversight and accounting institutions.
