Saudi Arabia Delivers Sacrificial Meat to Egypt, Palestine

Cairo: Saudi Deputy Ambassador to Egypt Abdulrahman bin Salem Al-Dahas delivered the shares of Saudi Arabia’s Project for Utilization of Hady and Adahi (livestock sacrifice) to Egypt and Palestine.

According to Saudi Press Agency, during the ceremony at the Kingdom’s embassy in Cairo, the shares of 30,000 sacrificial animals were handed over to the Arab Republic of Egypt and an equal number to the State of Palestine.

Delivering a speech at the ceremony, the project General Supervisor Saad Al-Wabel underlined the Kingdom’s keenness to facilitate the process of benefiting from the Hady and sacrificial meat and ensure its delivery to beneficiaries in 26 Islamic countries.

Palestinian Ambassador to Egypt Diab Al-Louh expressed gratitude to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, for the annual delivery of Adahi to the Palestinian people. ‘This project comes at a time when the Gaza Strip is in dire need of enhanced and intensified relief efforts for the Palestinian people, who are enduring extremely difficult humanitarian conditions,’ he said.

Egyptian representatives expressed thanks and appreciation to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and the Crown Prince for their support to the Arab nation.
