Saudi Arabia Condemns Attacks on Kurdistan Region of Iraq

Riyadh: Saudi Arabia has condemned the attacks on the Kurdistan Region of Iraq, which targeted the office of the region's Prime Minister, Masrour Barzani. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs declared the Kingdom's strongest condemnation and denunciation of these attacks, describing them as a blatant violation of Iraq's sovereignty and territorial integrity.

According to Union of OIC News Agencies, the ministry emphasized Saudi Arabia's complete rejection of hostile operations targeting public and political figures. The ministry's statement underscored that such actions harm the security of Iraqi state institutions and undermine the country's stability. Additionally, Saudi Arabia reiterated its firm stance against any interference in the internal affairs of states, violation of their sovereignty, and contravention of international law and principles of good neighborliness.
