Saudi Arabia and China Launch Workshop to Boost Vocational Technology and Economic Development

A workshop was officially launched today by Saudi Arabia and China, marking a new chapter in bilateral cooperation aimed at enhancing vocational technology and driving economic development.

The event, held in Riyadh, was attended by Deputy Governor of the Technical and Vocational Training Corporation for Training and Quality Policies Dr. Abdullah Al-Marzoq, China’s Ambassador to Saudi Arabia Chang Hua, and the president of the Academy of International Business Officials at the Chinese Ministry of Commerce, the organization responsible for carrying out the workshop.

This eight-day workshop is designed to strengthen cooperation between the two nations, focusing on leadership skills in the technical and vocational training sector. Chinese experts will provide insight in the workshop that in its first phase is conducted in English.

The initiative is part of broader efforts to foster the exchange of expertise in vocational training, develop Saudi Arabia’s national competencies, and enhance the quality of vocati
onal education, in line with the Kingdom’s sustainable economic development goals.

By sharing best practices and innovative approaches, the workshop seeks to ensure that vocational training in the Kingdom remains aligned with modern economic demands, contributing to the objectives of the country’s Vision 2030.
