Riyadh: The seven OPEC+ countries, including Saudi Arabia, Russia, Iraq, Kuwait, Kazakhstan, Algeria, and Oman, have reaffirmed their commitment to maintaining stability in the global oil market. These nations, which had previously announced additional voluntary production adjustments earlier in April and November 2023, convened virtually on September 6, 2026, to assess current market conditions and forecasts.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the seven countries agreed to keep the production levels set for September 2026 unchanged for October 2026. This decision was made in alignment with their ongoing efforts to ensure full adherence to the Declaration of Cooperation. The group emphasized the importance of collective action and commitment to market stability.
The OPEC+ countries also announced their intention to continue holding monthly meetings to evaluate the state of the market. The next meeting is scheduled for October 4, 2026, where they will once again review the market conditions and make necessary adjustments as needed.
