Jeddah: The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, met with the Canadian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Anita Anand, in Jeddah today to review bilateral relations and explore ways to enhance cooperation and partnership between Saudi Arabia and Canada.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the discussions between the two officials focused on regional developments, particularly condemning Iranian actions targeting tankers in the Strait of Hormuz and other aggressive acts impacting several countries in the region. They emphasized the importance of reducing tensions, resuming negotiations, and prioritizing dialogue to achieve a comprehensive agreement that would foster regional and international peace and security.
