Abidjan: Saudi Ambassador to C´te d'Ivoire Saad bin Bakhit Al-Qathami on Tuesday inspected the hall designated for the Makkah Route Initiative at Abidjan International Airport F©lix Houphou«t-Boigny.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the initiative aims to deliver high-quality services by receiving pilgrims from beneficiary countries and completing their procedures in their home countries with ease. This includes collecting biometric data, electronically issuing Hajj visas, completing passport procedures at the departure airport after verifying health requirements, and tagging and sorting luggage in line with transport and accommodation arrangements in the Kingdom.
Pilgrims then proceed directly to buses transporting them to their residences in Makkah and Madinah via dedicated routes, while partner entities deliver their luggage to their accommodations.
