Nouakchott: Saudi Ambassador to Mauritania Dr. Abdulaziz Al-Raqabi met with Mauritanian Minister of Islamic Affairs and Original Education El Fadhil Ould Sidaty Ould Ahmed Louli. The meeting focused on enhancing cooperation between Saudi Arabia and Mauritania in the fields of Islamic affairs and education.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the discussions also included preparations for the upcoming second edition of the King Salman bin Abdulaziz Competition for Memorizing the Holy Quran and the Prophetic Sunnah. The competition is set to take place in Mauritania and will involve participants from West African countries.
