Nouakchott: The Saudi Ambassador to the Islamic Republic of Mauritania, Dr. Abdulaziz bin Abdullah Al-Raqabi, delivered a shipment of 100 tons of dates yesterday as a gift from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. A delegation from the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) attended the handover ceremony.

According to Saudi Press Agency, Deputy Commissioner for Food Security Limam Abdawa thanked Saudi Arabia for its continued support, noting that the gift reflects the strong ties between the two nations and contributes to social programs benefiting vulnerable groups. Abdawa commended the high level of cooperation in assisting disadvantaged communities and expressed hope for further strengthening bilateral relations in line with the two nations’ leadership’s aspirations.

Al-Raqabi expressed his pleasure in attending the handover ceremony and reaffirmed Saudi Arabia’s commitment to supporting Mauritania, emphasizing that the donation is part of the enduring partnership between the two countries.
