Baku:The Saudi Standards, Metrology and Quality Organization (SASO) concluded its 10th Standards Forum at its headquarters, aligning the event with World Standards Day, which is observed annually on October 14.
According to Saudi Press Agency, SASO Governor Dr. Saad Al-Kasabi emphasized in his opening remarks that this year's theme, "Standards and Artificial Intelligence Empowering Applications and Building Trust," is in harmony with Saudi Arabia's designation of 2026 as the Year of Artificial Intelligence. He explained that the theme reflects the rapid advancements in AI technologies and the opportunities they provide to foster innovation, improve efficiency, and enhance competitiveness.
Dr. Al-Kasabi further highlighted the leadership's support for the standards and quality sector, which bolsters the Kingdom's ability to adapt to technological changes, promote innovation and competitiveness, and solidify its presence in international forums.
