Riyadh: Chairman of the Saudi Automobile and Motorcycle Federation (SAMF) Prince Khalid bin Sultan bin Abdullah bin Faisal highlighted the Kingdom’s commitment to supporting the sports sector to host events and tournaments that mirror Saudi Arabia’s aspirations and global standing. He emphasized that these major sporting events play a crucial role in drawing leading companies and investors to the country, unveiling significant investment opportunities in the sports sector.

According to Saudi Press Agency, Prince Khalid shared these insights during a panel discussion titled ‘Hosting Major Sporting Events and Their Impact on GDP Growth,’ which was part of the three-day Sports Investment Forum in Riyadh.

Prince Khalid elaborated that various sectors are collaborating to create an optimal environment allowing the Ministry of Sport to organize numerous sports events and activities. He noted that the Kingdom’s experience in hosting major sports events has been enriched by highly skilled local expertise, which has played a pivotal role in the success of each event hosted in Saudi Arabia. Furthermore, he mentioned that these sporting events are now inclusive, catering to all segments of society.
