Riyadh: The National Development Housing Foundation (Sakan) concluded "Sakanthon 2026," a national hackathon focused on innovation in developmental housing, honoring the winning teams that presented innovative solutions contributing to the development of the housing ecosystem.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the first edition witnessed broad participation from innovators, researchers, entrepreneurs, and interested individuals, who competed across four main tracks to provide practical solutions to housing challenges. The tracks focused on enhancing financing efficiency, developing sustainable giving models, leveraging modern technologies, and employing AI to support the sector.
