Sakaka: The second Sakaka dates festival, organized by Al-Jouf branch of the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture, will open today, featuring a group of farmers displaying various types of dates from Al-Jouf Region.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the five-day festival aims to support farmers, introduce the region’s date palms, and open new marketing channels for participating farmers’ products. The event will feature a variety of educational and recreational programs, children’s activities, stalls for families working in the cottage industry, and displays of folk heritage and arts.
