The award in the Materials Science category demonstrates SABIC's leadership in innovation and its continuous efforts to advance the global adoption of solar energy through materials that help improve manufacturing efficiency and long-term component performance.

NORYL V0150TW (absorptive) and V0150IR2 (transmissive) resins uniquely combine flame retardancy, improved weatherability, and superior sealing performance, enabling faster and cleaner manufacturing of photovoltaic microinverters while significantly enhancing their reliability and outdoor stability. NORYL V0 Resins also received an Edison Award this year in the Materials Science category, highlighting SABIC's contribution to industrial progress and advancing its vision of becoming the preferred world leader in chemicals.
SABIC's history of achievements in the RandD 100 Award, a highly competitive global science and innovation competition, includes three finalist honors and seven awards since 2021. The annual RandD 100 Award competition honors the world's most innovative new technologies, commercial products, and materials for their technological significance.
