Riyadh: The WTA Finals 2025, organized by the Saudi Tennis Federation under the supervision of the Ministry of Sport and sponsored by the Public Investment Fund, continued its group stage action on Wednesday at King Saud University in Riyadh. The fourth round saw significant developments, most notably the injury-forced withdrawal of American player Madison Keys.
According to Saudi Press Agency, in the singles competitions, Kazakhstan’s Elena Rybakina maintained her exceptional form in the Serena Williams Group, staying undefeated with a straight-sets victory over Russian Ekaterina Alexandrova, who stepped in to replace Keys.
Meanwhile, in the other group-stage match, American Amanda Anisimova secured a hard-fought, three-set victory over Poland’s Iga Swiatek.
