The Russian Foreign Ministry strongly condemned the assassination of the Secretary-General of the Lebanese Hezbollah, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah. The Russian Foreign Ministry said in a statement: "Moscow strongly condemns the political assassination of the Secretary-General of Hezbollah committed by Israel." It stressed that Israel bears full responsibility for the subsequent escalation after the assassination of the Secretary-General of Hezbollah.
