Medina: Over 3,000 male and female workers clean the Prophet’s Mosque around the clock as part of the comprehensive plans and programs managed by the General Authority for the Care of the Affairs of the Prophet’s Mosque to serve worshippers.
According to Saudi Press Agency, each worker is assigned a distinctive uniform that signifies their specific role. These dedicated teams operate under the guidance of skilled Saudi supervisors, who develop and execute strategic plans while assessing operational needs.
The sterilization and cleaning operations at the Prophet’s Mosque cover more than one million square meters, including the mosque’s roof, courtyards, and parking areas.
The cleaning process also extends to the columns, marble floors, ceilings, and woodwork inside the mosque. Additionally, the carpets are meticulously sterilized and infused with pleasant scents using premium materials, ensuring both cleanliness and a refreshing aroma. This careful attention to detail helps maintain a pristine, peaceful environment, providing comfort, tranquility, and reassurance to the worshippers.
