Riyadh to Host Labor Market Conference in January 2026

Riyadh: Under the patronage of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Riyadh is set to host the third edition of the Global Labor Market Conference (GLMC). The event, organized by the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development, will take place from January 26 to 27, 2026, at the King Abdulaziz International Conference Center (KAICC).

According to Saudi Press Agency, the conference will be held under the theme ‘Future in Progress,’ and will gather a notable group of decision-makers, business leaders, labor market experts, and representatives from international organizations. The aim is to shape the future of work by introducing innovative formats, including hackathons for creative solution development and academic discussions led by researchers on global priority topics.

The conference will feature over 200 speakers and host more than 7,000 participants from around the world. It will include more than 50 scheduled events and sessions, making it a significant gathering for labor market discussions.

The event is held in partnership with the International Labour Organization, World Bank, United Nations Development Programme, and Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development. These partnerships lend the conference an international dimension and increase the significance of its discussions and outcomes.
