Riyadh: Minister of Environment, Water and Agriculture Abdulrahman Alfadley will inaugurate the fourth edition of the Middle East Poultry Expo, held at the Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition Center from April 14 to 16. This event marks a gathering of significant industry stakeholders aimed at showcasing advancements in poultry and related sectors.

According to Saudi Press Agency, this year’s exhibition will see participation from 340 local and international companies specializing in poultry, feed, animal health, and nutrition. These companies will present their latest innovations, demonstrating the industry’s commitment to development. The Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture has highlighted the involvement of various representatives from public and private sectors, alongside scientific associations and non-profit organizations dedicated to livestock development.

The expo will include specialized pavilions focusing on areas such as poultry production, feed manufacturing, milling technologies, veterinary services, and animal nutrition and health. Attendees will have the chance to explore over 800 products and technologies, aimed at strengthening supply chains within the poultry industry.

The ministry has also highlighted the growth of the Kingdom’s poultry sector, linking it to government initiatives like loans and facilities for poultry projects and private sector investment encouragement. These measures, as part of Saudi Vision 2030, play a role in improving the Kingdom’s food security.
