Riyadh Region Municipality has officially launched its award for architectural and urban creativity, intending to elevate the quality of projects and promote excellence in the built environment. The award comprises two categories: an Architecture award and a Landscape Architecture and Urban Design award.

Through this award, Riyadh Region Municipality includes both public and private sectors and non-profit sectors to explore new realms of positive competition, promote excellence among practitioners, and celebrate their remarkable projects in architecture and urban design. It also encourages architects, planners, urban designers, and experts to prioritize high-quality design outputs.

The Municipality offers an opportunity for architects and designers to register and submit their projects built in Riyadh in the last five years to compete for the award. The registration period extends to 10 weeks, followed by a 4-week evaluation period conducted by a panel of distinguished experts and university professors. Submissions are open to all architectural and urban design projects, and three winning projects will be awarded under each of the two main categories.
