Riyadh: Under the patronage of Riyadh Governor Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz and in the presence of Deputy Governor Prince Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Abdulaziz, the Saudi Ardah will be performed today at 7:30 PM at Al-Adl Square in Qasr Al-Hukm as part of the Saudi Founding Day 2026 celebrations, organized by the Royal Commission for Riyadh City and the Riyadh Region Principality.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the Saudi Ardah is one of the most significant national traditions associated with the history of the Saudi state, dating back to its founding in 1727.
The celebration program includes a documentary exhibition showcasing the stages of the founding of the Saudi state and highlighting the comprehensive developmental achievements realized under Saudi Vision 2030.
Additionally, the program features visual displays at the historic Al-Masmak Palace, portraying the values and meanings of the founding in a contemporary style, and includes a variety of heritage events and activities that reflect the richness and diversity of the national heritage.
The organization of these events underscores the historical significance of Saudi Founding Day as a national occasion that evokes the depth of the Saudi state and its strong foundations.
