Riyadh Police Arrest Nine Individuals for Financial Fraud

Riyadh: As part of Public Security’s efforts to combat financial fraud and all forms of crime, Riyadh Police arrested six Bangladeshi residents and three Saudi citizens for creating fake links to a government agency and falsely claiming to offer government services.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the individuals collaborated with a criminal network based outside the Kingdom, deceiving victims and embezzling approximately SAR393,900 through 33 incidents across various regions of the Kingdom.

The authorities discovered all the tools used in the fraudulent activities in their possession. Legal action has been taken against the individuals, and they have been referred to the Public Prosecution.
