Riyadh: The “Global Harmony 2” initiative, organized by the Ministry of Media in cooperation with the General Entertainment Authority (GEA), continued to celebrate Sudanese culture through a diverse cultural program and ongoing events highlighting the authentic features of Sudanese heritage.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the events held at Al-Suwaidi Park, one of the zones of Riyadh Season, offered visitors the chance to explore various aspects of Sudanese culture, including traditional clothing, handicrafts, and heritage artifacts reflecting the richness and diversity of its cultural legacy.
The activities attracted large crowds of thousands of visitors from different nationalities, who eagerly documented the details, engaged with the exhibits, and discovered their cultural stories. On the event stage, several Sudanese singers performed a selection of traditional folk songs representing different regions of Sudan, amid a festive atmosphere filled with applause, reflecting the audience’s engagement and joy in Sudanese culture.
Several Sudanese attendees expressed their happiness with the initiative, noting that it successfully presented their culture to the world in a dignified manner and offered them a unique opportunity to share their cultural heritage with an international audience.
The Sudan Culture days feature daily activities ranging from musical and entertainment performances and children’s games to handicrafts and food-tasting experiences. The upcoming days of Sudan Culture week will continue with a diverse program, including additional musical and cultural performances, celebratory processions, and handicrafts and products that reflect the depth and diversity of Sudanese heritage.
