Riyadh:Prince Dr. Faisal bin Abdulaziz bin Ayyaf, the Mayor of Riyadh, met with Geordin Hill-Lewis, the Mayor of Cape Town, South Africa, to discuss potential areas of cooperation between the two cities.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the meeting took place in Riyadh and marked Hill-Lewis's first visit to the city. The discussions focused on the remarkable transformations occurring in Riyadh, with an emphasis on significant projects such as the Riyadh Metro, Expo 2030 Riyadh, the Green Riyadh Project, and various water network initiatives. The strategic objectives for Riyadh leading up to 2030 were also reviewed.
Hill-Lewis expressed admiration for Riyadh's projects and shared insights from Cape Town's experience in managing water resources, urban transport, and governance. Both mayors emphasized the importance of exchanging expertise and best practices to enhance cooperation between their cities.
