Riyadh Air Launches Direct Flights to Bangkok

Riyadh: Riyadh Air officially launched its direct flights connecting King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh (RUH) with Suvarnabhumi International Airport in Bangkok (BKK). The new route strengthens air connectivity between the Kingdom and Thailand and marks continued growth for the new carrier, which now operates direct flights to 12 destinations from Riyadh.

According to Saudi Press Agency, Riyadh Air CEO Tony Douglas emphasized that the launch of the direct route between the two capitals underscores the airline's commitment to advancing the goals of Saudi Vision 2030 by strengthening trade, tourism, and cultural ties between Saudi Arabia and Thailand.

This marks the airline's 12th destination since its inaugural flight in June 2026. Riyadh Air will operate three weekly direct flights to Bangkok, increasing to daily service starting November 9.
